Space-E/CAM
An intelligent CAD/CAM system that supports a high-efficiency machining function and automatic path creation with an easy operation
For a 3-axis path created on Space-E/CAM, NC data available for a controller provided by Heidenhain can be output.
- Supported control examples -
- Line segment (L), circular arc command (CC)
- Diameter correction command (RL, RR)
- Drilling fix cycle command (CYCL DEF)
- Indexing machining command (PLANE)
For a 3-axis path created on Space-E/CAM, NC data available for a controller provided by Siemens can be output.
Easily convert 3axis tool path to 5axis.
You can select the 3-axis path freely that is the basis for the conversion.
Abundant tool attitude modes are available to support various machining patterns.
For a set model shape, a 5-axis path with reference to a specified direction is created.
It can be also created in consideration of undercutting parts.
For a specified wire shape on a surface, a path following the surface can be created.
In addition, the shape can be processed from a direction perpendicular to it.
Because a tool axis is inclined, a shape can be processed at a short projecting length.
When driving is set, a 5-axis path for rough finishing can be created.
Recognize flat part and cut by flat tool.
You can easily set whether tool endpoint control is used and how many decimal places are specified.
These settings support the FANUC and Heidenhain controller formats.
Machine simulation is implemented.
In addition, you can check interference among model shapes, tools, and machine tools.
