Overview of Project-Space

Project-Space is an ERP short-term introduction solution specialized for the following industries: equipment installation (such as electricity, pipes, and plant), construction, shipbuilding, bridges, new power companies, and build-to-order type manufacturing.
In addition, Project-Space is partially available by limiting a business area to a particular division such as a research/development division and prototype manufacturing division.

Project-Space is based on the Biz ∫ (Biz integral), an ERP entirely produced in Japan, and implements industry-specific functions, so quick start with a minimum of customization is feasible for your ERP solution.
Biz ∫ is an ERP product developed for general-purpose use. Project-Space complements industry-specific functions.

Project-Space covers primary business areas as ERP.

Features of Project-Space

  1. Profit and loss management in projects (by work numbers, serial numbers)
  2. A link function between contract numbers and work numbers (support for 1:N, N:1, and N:N)
  3. Budget/result management in divisions and in work, and a cost allocation function
  4. A cost allocation function for labor costs and indirect costs
  5. A function to import data from Microsoft Excel (such as order contract information and receiving inspection information)
  6. A sales recording function on a work completion basis, on a partial work completion basis, or on a work progress basis
  7. An electronic ordering function to vendors on the Web (from an estimation request to order placement and receiving inspection)

Description of Each Module

Order Contract

Enters information about contracted work (project). You can use various patterns to link contract numbers to work numbers, for example, dividing one contract into several pieces of work or integrating multiple contracts into one piece of work.

Sales are on a work completion basis, on a work progress basis, and on a partial work completion basis.

Cost Accounting

Registers a working budget for each work. This enables you to understand a difference between a planned cost and an actual cost as well as an expected landing point for each work.

Project-Space can calculate a construction progress rate based on the working cost and the actually generated cost to automatically calculate sales on a work progress basis. You can journalize sales and transfer at any point by registering transfer work and setting a transfer value.

Purchase Control

Performs purchase request to suppliers, order, stocking, and receiving inspection processes. You can place orders in projects.

Payment of some of the accepted amount can be automatically put into a pending state until full delivery in a unit of order, depending on the partial payment-pending rate specified at the time of order. This pending state is automatically canceled at the time of full delivery.

Stock Control

Performs goods arrival, stocking, acceptance and delivery, and stocktaking processes.
You can also control planned stocks before they are inspected.

Project-Space supports cost accounting based on the periodic average method, job-costing method, and standard cost method.

General Account

Performs daily and monthly operations, a statement of accounts, and tax declaration.
You can manage forms such as a transfer request from each division in a same system.

Credit Control

Performs recording, request, receipt of money, deletion, and balance processes for credits.
Project-Space can automatically offset an account receivable for completed construction work and a received amount for uncompleted construction work.

Debt Control

Performs recording, claim, advance payment, advance offset, payment, and balance processes for debts.
Project-Space can manage forms such as contracts and receiving inspection vouchers in a same system.

Asset Control

Performs acquisition of assets, depreciation, goods control, removal and sale, impairment, and tax declaration.
You can also register leasehold, change the contract of it, complete the contract, or renew the contract.

Integrated Accounting

Seamlessly integrates data from other systems.
