Add-on cavity/core design, mold design, and CAM functions to CATIA V5

Space-E CAA V5 Based is a system where our technology for the mold industry nurtured over time has been integrated into CATIA®, aiming at use of PLM for "Japan's manufacturing".
We have expanded the cavity/core design, mold design, and CAM functions to the global standard CATIA V5 to propose a total PLM solution from design to mold manufacturing.

Product Configuration

Space-E CAA V5 Based consists of three products used as add-ons to CATIA V5.

Core & Cavity Design
(CCD)
A product where the cavity/core modeling function is used as an add-on to standard CATIA V5.
Mold Design A product where the 3D mold design function is used as an add-on to standard CATIA V5.
CAM A product where the CAM function focused on 3-axis machining is used as add-on to standard CATIA V5.
[Option] 5Axis
A 5-axis CAM system where functions have been expanded based on "multi axis surface machining 2 (MMG)" of CATIA V5.

Space-E CAA V5 Based Core & Cavity  Design

A product where the excellent framework of CATIA V5 is applied to mold cavity/core design.
You can check slopes and undercut to find an optimal punching direction. This function supports division tasks for cavity/core parts and slide core parts.

Space-E CAA V5 Based Mold Design

A product where the 3D mold design support function is applied to CATIA V5 Mold Tooling Design (MTD).
This design is flexible to standard design unique to each company when mold design know-how (knowledge) of each company is imported.

Space-E CAA V5 Based CAM

A product where functions required for Japan's mold machining have been expanded and added, based on the 5-axis and 3-axis NC machining program creation function of CATIA V5.
You can add new machining patterns, and create paths with greater flexibility while you are aware of rib grooves.
