Space-E/Modeler
A hybrid modeler that has the integration of an advanced NURBS curved surface technology into solid modeling
This function can easily create high-quality curved surfaces, which is a time-consuming job, such as filling holes or creation of a single gradation face in mold modeling.
In addition, expected deformation occurring in a press mold can be performed to complex surfaces collectively.
Specify only one edge and automatically fill hole.
A surface is inserted into a closed area enclosed in many (two or more) boundaries.
Deform complex model with keeping surface continuity.
After an axis is specified, a body and a face can be deformed at a specified angle.
After a reference axis is specified, a body and a face can be deformed along a circular arc from the endpoint of them.
After an angle of rotation is set to the starting and ending points of a reference axis, a body and a face can be twisted to deform them.
When the simulation results of spring back obtained by an external program such as CAE are imported into Modeler via an STL file, a 3D model can be automatically deformed.
Spring forward deformation, which is opposite side deformation to the simulation results, is also supported.
When an STL file is read, an item can be deformed based on the shape of the STL file.
You can perform an easy operation to create a pre-mold planar shape (blank shape) in a short time from a 3D mold shape consisting of a body or a face.
You can also use calculation results to check the distribution of material thickness.
By deploying either surface (front/back) of the molded item into a plane, its outline is created.
A flange end (maximum outline) of a panel molded item is deployed in drawing format.
Because this operation is completely integrated into the CAD operation screen, troublesome data conversion and solid operations are not required. You can use the deployment results for the next CAD operation without changing them.
Create a flange shape (maximum out line) on draw shape.
